Upon a darkened night
the flame o love was burning in my breast
And by a lantern bright
I fled my house while all in quiet rest
Shrouded by the night and by the secret star I quikly fled
The veil concealed my eyes
while all within lay quiet as the dead
Oh night though was my guide
oh night more loving than the rising sun
Poetry by the medieval monk and mystic San Juan de la Cruz. Probably he fell in love and made this beautifull poem. Inspired in God? Or in someone else? Who knows!!!
Below a video with images from our lonely and superb Planet and a celestial music wrote by Will Ackerman (The Impending Death of the Virgin Spirit) and interpreted by a good cover. Breathtaking!!! The day could be taken as a metaphor of our lives.
